Julian to Gregorian Transition Year   1584     (1st of 3)

An alternative scenario to the actual Julian-To-Gregorian calendar change where the 10 days dropped all at once in 1582
are instead left "as is". In this plan, the 10 days will be phased out over a period of three years -- 1584, 1585 and 1586.

For the alternative 1584 calendar, the months of March, July and October, normally 31 days each, would be 30 days each.
This change would also occur in both 1585 and 1586, with the three months returning to normal lengths in 1587 and after.

Also, 1584 would normally be a Leap Year, with February 29th observed. In this alternative version, February 29th is
not observed. The normal observance of February 29th under standard Gregorian rules would instead begin in 1588.
