To compare with the test results, Heath's published continuous power output rating for the AR-1500 was 60 watts
per channel at 8-ohms, 100 watts per channel at 4-ohms and 40 watts per channel at 16-ohms, with both channels
driven from 20 hz to 20,000 hz. At full power output (4, 8 or 16 ohms), rated harmonic distortion (THD) was no
more than 0.25%, and rated intermodulation distortion (IM) was no more than 0.10%.
