On December 3rd 2022, two individuals were shot and killed along the Phenix City Riverwalk just up a few
yards north of the Troy-Phenix City Campus Building. A suspect in the double homicide was captured in
Columbus Georgia a few days later, booked on pending charges of capital murder.

The WTVM-9 screen shot captures focus on the specific crime scene area.

The "Sidewalk Squiggle" images were taken about a week after the incident. The chalk-drawn
squiggle character was located a few yards south of the murder scene.
