Imagine the increased possibilities if the traditional 52-card deck was expanded to 56 with the adding of a One Card
to each suite. As you read about the 70-card universe further down on this page, look for scenarios involving the use
of the One Card, including situations where the Ace can be used as a One Card in certain hands.

Suites .. Spades, Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds, Swords

*** The fourteen cards in each suite, ranked highest to lowest ***
|Ace .. King .. Queen .. Jack .. Ten .. Nine .. Eight .. Seven .. Six .. Five .. Four .. Three .. Two ... One|

In a 70-card universe, there can be eleven five-card hand ranks, as follows ...

    1. Five Of A Kind -- all natural 5. Full House 9. Two Pair
    2. Royal Flush 6. Flush 10. One Pair
    3. Straight Flush 7. Straight 11. High Card Hand
    4. Four Of A Kind 8. Three Of A Kind

    Ranks # 2 thru 11 are the same as # 1 thru # 10 in the traditional 52-card-deck / 5-card-hand poker

The all natural Five Of A Kind is formed using the four traditional suites -- Spades,
Hearts, Diamonds and Clubs -- as well as the added suite of Swords.

Rank order »»» highest ... next highest, etc. .... 5 Aces   5 Kings   5 Queens   5 Jacks   and so on .....

Note -- Up to three Aces may be used as One Cards in any Five Of A Kind hand of One's.

A 5-card Four Of A Kind hand in a 70-card universe is the same as in a 52-card universe.
The addition of the One Card to each suite allows for the following special scenario .....

Up to two Aces may be subbed for One Cards in a 70-card universe Four-Of-A-Kind hand. This could lead to
the very rare occurance of two players each having One-One-Ace-Ace or One-One-One-Ace hands, assuming
. that no wild cards are involved. In such a scenario, each player's 5th card would serve as a tie-breaker.

Aces can also sub for One Cards in the following hands ....

»» Full House ... Combo's of One-One-Ace -OR- One-Ace-Ace, plus the pair cards.
Also, One-Ace (but not Ace-Ace) can represent a pair of One's.

»» Straight ... Just like in the traditional 52-card universe, the Ace can act as a One Card
          in any Five-Four-Three-Two-One Straight.

»» Three Of A Kind ... Three One's can be represented by One-One-Ace or One-Ace-Ace.

C. Traditional and Modified Six-Card Hands
70 Card Deck .... No Wild Cards

Six Card Stud Poker ... Six Cards (1 down, 4 up, 1 down) dealt to each player.

Eight Card Stud Poker ... Eight Cards (2 down, 5 up, 1 down) dealt to each player.

Community Card Poker ... Each player is dealt two cards down, then five or six community cards are dealt up one at a time,
and finally one more card is dealt down to each player, who must make a six-card hand out of all the dealt cards.
